16 Great College Street is a single grade II* listed five storey terraced house in the Smiths Square Conservation area in the heart of Westminster. Architect Scott Brownrigg’s brief was to take this sorely neglected building, which had more recently been used as offices, and return it to its original form as a magnificent family home. Whilst a two-storey modern glass extension has been added to the rear of the building, the internal fabric has been simply refurbished preserving the setting and special architectural and historical interests of the building.
