Homebuilder Barratt West London and Assael Architecture started with a 12.9 acre island site along west London’s former Golden Mile, the Great West Road. The grade 2 listed Wallis House is being carefully restored and converted to grand apartments. A 25-storey tower forms a new landmark for the site, and is accompanied by a series of new buildings around a central piazza and boulevard. The grand design will create a new mixed use quarter comprising two converted and 17 new buildings, with 425 private and 348 affordable apartments and comprehensive community facilities
