The honey-coloured glow over the City of London, beside the River Thames is not a sunset, but the glazed terracotta tiled facade of the striking new apartment building, Sir John Lyon House, created partially from the conversion of a run down 1950s office block by the developer Riverview Holdings. With mainly one bedroom apartments at the lower levels, higher up are larger apartments of up to 1625 sq ft. with corner balconies that cantilever out vertiginously over the Thames.
